5 Winning Strategies For MLM Success

Wednesday, March 24th, 2010

1. Find Your Niche
Sure you would like everyone to benefit from the opportunity you have to offer , but not everyone will be interested. Successful MLM marketers are willing to step outside the box, and change themselves. It’s not for everyone.

Who are the people most ready for change? Prioritize your prospects, and target your marketing strategies toward them. Don’t waste time and energy. Invest where it counts.

2. Invest In Low Cost Leads
Bigger isn’t always better! Small ads, postcards, and other low cost advertising methods are powerful advertising agents. They’re small, to the point and effective… generating a higher than average percentage of inquiries.

Leads are the lifeline of MLM success. You don’t necessarily have to make a sale with the advertisements. Making contact is just as important. Your advertisement may simply direct them to your website where they gather the information they need.

3. Stir Up Desire
Everyone has dreams most never take the action to make them reality. You never know who will respond to your advertising campaign, but you can be sure that it will take an emotional connection to spark them to action.

Emotional advertising is effective because it puts people in the shoes of the MLM marketer. They get to feel the bonuses of freedom and financial success. They can experience the joy of being their own boss, with a few cleverly written words.

4. Call To Action
The best time to encourage a prospect to make a commitment is NOW. If you can’t convince a prospect to make some kind of commitment even on a trial basis don’t bother with them they’re not interested. Don’t waste your time with the maybe or I’ll think about people just move on.

5. Follow UP
Most people Will Not buy something the first time they visit your site. This is where a good autoresponder is key.

Implement follow ups and you’ll increase your success rate by 50 percent. Prioritize your list, spend the majority of your time on your hot prospects, but stay in contact and be available to everyone on your list. You never know just what changes might spur them into doing something else with their life… you want to be there for them at that perfect time.

Who Is Your Target Market?

Sunday, March 21st, 2010

Like most, my first few attempts at network marketing failed miserably. Looking back, I now realize this is because of how I was taught. Whether you were taught by a so called telemarketing expert, a used car salesman or just ventured out on your own. We’ve all heard it before “every person is a potential sale”.  This idea alone is probably responsible for more failures than anything else. Most people don’t want to buy what your selling, no matter what is regardless of cost and don’t want to be bothered to listen to you. Most people take this rejection personally or simply tire of the struggle and give up before achieving any level of success.

So who is your target market? You can narrow your focus by people looking for home-based businesses, but is this really going far enough? My own experience has shown me that many people looking for legitimate home businesses consider network marketing taboo.

I’ve also encountered people who were looking for business opportunities who wanted nothing to do with selling. This alone makes them less than ideal candidates to be considered a target market for network marketers.

Who then? Who understands network marketing requires work and discipline?  Well, considering more than 95% of network marketers fail within three to four months, the answer should be somewhat obvious. The target market for network marketers is fellow network marketers. This is your target market. These people are ready and willing to put in the work to be successful in MLM they just need you to show them how. They believe in network marketing or at least they did at some point. They are hungry, motivated people that given the proper tools and training will strive to be a success. This is where you come in.

If you target these disillusioned, but motivated souls, you’ll find a gold mine. By teaching them solid, no nonsense marketing techniques, many are likely to succeed, which translates into more success for you.

MLM Secrets – Keep It Simple

Saturday, March 6th, 2010

One of the key factors to being successful in MLM is to keep it as simple as possible.  Networking MLM is a very simple business. But keeping it simple does not mean that hard work is not involved. One of the common mistakes is that people try to make it complicated.  You could have the greatest MLM system in the world but if you are the only one who understands it you will never be successful.  Everything you do must be simple enough so that everyone can quickly duplicate your efforts and achieve the same phenomenal results as you.  In MLM networking, you should not do things that require special skills, or special training, or that require costly resources.  You system must be user friendly and easy to understand even for the beginning marketer.  Each person in your MLM network must be able to exactly duplicate what you are doing and be able to teach others to do exactly the same thing. How large a sales team you build depends on how well it can be duplicated.  To ensure success, you need a system or processes that anybody and everybody can follow and teach. You cannot duplicate a person but you can duplicate a system.  In building a successful and long-term network, the MLM networking system must rule. Remember a system is only as good as it is duplicated.  The more complex a system, the less likely quality duplication will be achieved. To make sure you duplicate well, follow the System you are provided with religiously. There is no perfect system and your time is better spent perfecting your ability to duplicate it rather than perfecting a system.  Keeping it simple. To ensure you do the things that people can learn from and duplicate.  In setting up your MLM system, ask yourself is what I’m doing easy to follow and can it be duplicated for success by everyone. If you can answer YES than you are on the right track. If NO than make the necessary changes until you get it right.  The most successful people in MLM networking business understand that everything must be kept simple in order to grow your business. Show others how simple it is to do what you do. They need to see you do it, and then believe it is possible for them to quickly duplicate the same good results.

Marketing Tools

Tuesday, February 16th, 2010

If you are serious about running a successful business an autoresponder is a must have. Autoresponders are an automated way to send a message or series of messages to anyone who requests it. Aweber is the top autoresponder on the market today. Aweber will track your messages and send new messages on a schedule that you define. Autoresponders are a top marketing tool to help increase sales whether you are an affiliate or business owner. The key to running any successful business is earning the trust of your customers and subscribers. With an autoresponder you customers and subscribers get to know you and gain trust in you and are much more likely to buy or endorse your products or services. Aweber is a complete solution for anyone looking to increase sales by autoresponder. Members can use Aweber to promote and pre-sell products to people who are interested. The fact is most people won’t buy something the first time they visit your site, with Aweber your site is promoted several times and dramatically increases your chances to make a sale. There are other autoresponders on the market but for the most part they been reported to be unreliable delivering only about 20 to 40 percent of emails to recipients. Aweber service (as they claim) has 99.34% delivery rate. That means that practically all of your subscribers will get your message. Can you imagine losing up to 80 percent of your business just because you chose the wrong autoresponder. With Aweber you get the easiest to use autoresponder available. When you are new to marketing all the information out there can seem overwhelming. Aweber provides an easy to follow format, set-up takes only a few minutes and you’ll learn how to navigate very quickly. AWeber does an excellent job of giving it’s customers access to a wide range of tools and utilities that will help modify and optimize your campaigns. I have been using Aweber for some time now and its the only autoresponder I use or would recommend. If there is anything that you are looking for an autoresponder to do chances are Aweber will do it. If you are serious about your business and want to generate more sales and long-term revenue Aweber is the only choice in autoresponders.

The Greatness Of Followers

Sunday, February 7th, 2010

I often hear people say that it is better to lead than to follow. This type of thinking, is most often expressed in business, but it has permeated into mainstream modes of mentalities.

In fact not everyone has the makeup to be a leader. Nor should everyone strive to gain the attributes to position themselves as a leader. In the grand scheme of things followers are every bit as important as leaders. Without the support of faithful, motivated followers what power would a leader truly have?

When it comes to competing for which position is the most important, neither the leader or follower loses. Both are of equal importance. In fact it may help to think of a leader as an NFL Quarterback and the rest of his team as the followers. The Quarterback is glorified and held up while the followers for the most part are largely overlooked, unless they make a mistake. It takes the team as a whole working together to reach the ultimate goal of winning the Super Bowl. The two Super Bowl Quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Drew Brees have proven themselves to be great leaders, but what would they be without the outstanding protection of their offensive lines, they would be Tony Romo. Being a follower is a commendable role indeed and in no way should be overshadowed as a less meaningful position to hold than leader. In fact any successful leader would tell you the same about their dedicated supporters.

It is truly a grave mistake to compare leaders and followers as one being a better position than the other.

To do so is a serious misguided notion and a common mistake that too many people are making. If we think about it, we have only to conclude that to lead or follow are both great positions to hold. After all when it comes to the success of the leaders it has been and always will be the followers that will carry them there.

How to Succeed Online

Saturday, January 30th, 2010

The Web has truly revolutionized the way business is done. It is the most dramatic economic phenomenon of the last decade. While the web has brought fortune to some there are many more who can’t make it work for them. For every success story there are 99 stories about a person struggling to make any money, or worse, losing money they couldn’t afford to lose. So how can you succeed online? Here are some ways to have your online business work for you.

1. Provide Value to Your Customers
A successful business is one that provides value to its customers. Your website exists first and foremost to fill customer’s needs whether for information, a product, or a service. You will only succeed if you give customers something that they want. What makes your site valuable? Most anybody can put together a good looking website or pay someone else to do it. What sets you apart is the content you provide. Your site must have enough valuable information for a customer to want to take action. If you are selling a product or a service on your site write a blog or review for your products and services. Explain the features and benefits and why they would be of value to your customers. Your prospective customer must be able to get most of his or her questions answered on your site. If they leave your site to look somewhere else you’ve lost them.

2. Get Help
The fastest to fall flat on your face in your online business is try to do it yourself. Follow the blueprint of successful business and MLM companies. Search engines reward sites that are linked and recommended by quality sites. Successful online businesses enlist the help of other websites to promote their products through affiliate programs.

3. Sell Yourself Not Your Business Opportunity
Social marketing is a must. Social sites such as Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, and Twitter are some of the most visited sites on the web. Sites like Facebook and MySpace allow prospective customers to see you as a person and become your friend. This sets you apart from the pack. Getting to know people and building their trust is key to long term success in any business. Video marketing is also key, people love to watch videos. If a picture is worth a thousand words, a video is worth a million.

4. Don’t Go too Fast
You want to build a business that stands the test of time. If you have limited resources, the key is to start small then slowly grow your way up. In fact, many online entrepreneurs launch their Web sites while keeping their daytime jobs. This is not a get-rich -quick plan, this is a long-term revenue generating venture.

5. Design the Website for the Customers
Although a well-written, well-designed web site with great content can make a positive impression on your prospects, the design should focus around getting the visitor to take the action you want. In creating your web site, your best resource is your customers. Seek the feedback of your customers and ask them if the site is working for them or not. Listen carefully and adjust your site accordingly.

6. Brand Yourself
Effective online branding does not require big budgets, just an understanding of what brand attributes you are trying to build. Branding yourself as a leader is integral. How you see yourself is how others will see you. Make your name and business relevant and valuable and you will be seen as an authority.

7. Value Your Customers
Be mindful of their questions and concerns and provide help along the way. Sending follow-up and thank you emails is a nice touch. Provide contact info, so if they have any questions they can call or e-mail you directly.
